    Description

    Nice vintage cast iron heat grate vent with stamped steel louvers. Has a surround frame ring. You can remove ring for a smaller hole. The markings indicate that the register and surround were made by U.S Register Co. in Battle Creek, Michigan. Nice decorative arts and crafts pattern. This register has black paint and surface rust. The louvers are functional and in good condition, but they tend to stick. Someone had replaced a rivet with a machine screw. Overall good condition.
