    Description

(2 available, priced individually) Beautifully restored cast iron radiators that had been used in a small water closet and vestibule. These units were salvaged from an opulent Arts and Crafts mansion in Mendham, NJ that was designed by Grosvenor Atterbury. They're perfect low-profile units measuring about 26x13x3.5." They come complete with mounting bracket and hardware--just supply a new bolt. These were meticulously removed to ensure they were undamaged, media blasted to remove surface rust and 116 years of paint, and finished with high-heat primer and top coats of gold, just as they would have been when originally installed. Low-profile radiators like these are perfect for reinstallation into small powder rooms, vestibules, and butler's pantries as plate warmers. They're perfect landing spots for gloves, scarves, and slippers in the cold months and beside bath tubs as towel warmers. These units had been set up as part of a two-pipe steam system. They have four (4) pipe inlets that could be opened or plugged depending on your setup. They also have holes for vents that will need to be re-tapped. Whether you have steam or hot water, a skilled plumber will be able to make these work for your space. Restored and ready for your contractor before the upcoming winter. Thanks for looking!
